Description
Ultrasonic level meter is a digital level meter which is processed by a high performance microprocessor. In measurement, the ultrasonic pulse made by sensor (transducer), the sound waves reflected an object's surface by the same sensor after receiving, the receiving circuit, filter circuit, the circuit envelope, converted to electrical signals that the processor can identify, the processor to record the time between the ultrasonic transmitting and receiving, to calculate the sensor to the distance of the object to be tested. Due to the use of non-contact measurement, the measured medium is almost unlimited, can be widely used in a variety of liquid and solid material height measurement.

Working principle:
The ultrasonic level meter is installed on the upper part of the container. Under the control of the electronic unit, the probe emits an ultrasonic pulse to the measured object. The sound waves are reflected off the surface of the object, and some of the reflected waves are received by the probe and converted into electrical signals. From the ultrasonic emission to be re-received, the time is proportional to the probe to the measured object distance. The electronic unit detects the time and calculates the measured distance based on the known speed of sound. The position value can be obtained by subtraction. Since temperature has an effect on the speed of sound, the instrument should measure temperature to correct the speed of sound.

Ultrasonic level meter container installation conditions:
● Closed container
For measuring ranges below 8m, the container shall have flange openings above DN65;
For 10m, 12m range, the container should have more than DN80 flange mouth, the pipe length under the flange is less than 15cm.
For the 15m range, the vessel shall have flange openings of DN150 or more, with nozzles under the flange less than 15cm in length.
For 20m, 30m, 40m measuring range, the container should have more than DN200 flange mouth, the pipe length under the flange is less than 20cm.
● Open container
For measuring ranges below 8m, the container should have mounting ports with diameters above 65mm;
For 10m and 12m ranges, containers shall have mounting ports with diameters of more than 80mm and the thickness of mounting ports less than 15cm.
For 15m ranges, containers shall have mounting ports with diameters greater than 150mm and a thickness less than 15cm.
For 20m, 30m, and 40m measuring ranges, the container must have mounting ports with diameters of more than 200mm and a thickness of less than 20cm.
● Open pool
Mounting brackets are required. Outdoor application in cold area: open pool: the ultrasonic probe should be raised to prevent frosting and icing.
Container: flange outdoor installation, should take warm measures; Unable to keep warm, the ultrasonic level meter with probe extension should be ordered so that the probe extends into the container.
